CHA 2016 - Sue's Report!

We were just working out that it’s around 8 years since we did our first show at the Craft and Hobby Association in the USA. Not sure where that time has gone but we have certainly enjoyed taking several innovative craft (and now cake) products lines over to our US friends over the years.

The show has got a little smaller now the scrapbook boom years are behind us, but the term MEGA show is still very apt as it the biggest craft trade show on earth.

Take a look around last year’s set up here https://youtu.be/pqN3qJb5XRU

This is how our booth started out

And here is how we finished up.

Smaller than normal so it was a good job we didn’t have the proverbial cat to swing!

The great thing about moulds is that they are used in so many different crafts so there is an abundance of possibilities only limited by your imagination (not a problem here at KSD HQ). We had a great time at the most creative show on earth and are excited by the opportunities before us, starting with the first of our Steampunk mould collection which launches on Monday.

Tune in to Create and Craft TV (UK) at 9am to see Noreen demonstrating with the new collection!

The new moulds featured on this amazing canvas are the Cogs and Wheels, Clock, Decorative Corners and the Decorative Keys and Locket (locket only). Other moulds used are the Manuscript Alphabet and the Beaded Pearl Border designs!
